Installation Instructions.

1. Create a database on your server
   
2. Unzip the script we send you and save all the files to a secure area on your desktop. Use these files as your backup script.
   
3. Upload all files into the directory that will contain the script, preferably your "root" directory
   
4. Before you run the installation script change the properties (CHMOD) to 777 on the following folders and files in the /radlance directory:
   
   
   
   • /backup - folder only
     
     
   • /config - both .php files contained inside the folder. *Important* Once the script is installed change connect.php back to 644
     
     
   • /files, /files/ads and /files/folios - folders only
     
     
   • /forum/templates - all 6 .tmpl files
     
     
   • /help - folder and all 18 .htm files
     
     
   • /lang - folder and all 5 .php files
     Note: when adding a new language, you will have to repeat this process on the new language files that are added. It is not necessary to repeat the property changes on the existing files unless you re-install the script on another domain name.
     
     
   • /templates, /templates/emails, templates/temp and /templates/web - all folders
     
     
   • /templates/emails, /templates/emails/en , /templates/emails/pl and /templates/emails/zh - all folders and 175 .tpl files contained therein.
     Note: when adding a new language, you will have to repeat this process on the new language files that are added. It is not necessary to repeat the property changes on the existing files unless you re-install the script on another domain name.
     
     
   • /templates/web - all the folders and .tpl files (approx: 1,000 of them), /css folders and .css files contained therein.

Once done and if the script is uploaded in your root directory, please enter this url into you browser http:// www. YourSiteName.com/radlance/admin/install.php (no spaces) and follow the instructions in installation script that is provided.

If the script is not in your root directory enter the following url into your browser: http:// www. YourSiteName.com/FolderName/radlance/admin/install.php (no spaces) and follow the instructions in installation script that is provided.
